GUERRILLA-GROUP - S/S 2017 : (A)RISE 旭日東昇

We teamed up with a Taiwanese sculpture artist "900 sculptor studio", tried to revisit our Asian roots. Tapping into Ancient Chinese mythology, drawing elements of traditional Chinese theatre "Peking Opera" and "Glove Puppetry". Traditional design elements of Chinese clothing such as the loop and button frog fastenings, have been infused with the brand’s ongoing military aesthetic, along with wide-legged pleated trousers and oversized silhouettes for coats. Raw edges and distressed textures of the fabric come together to evoke a seasoned and worn in look cut with military precision. 

The lookbook also includes the products from "Natural Disaster 自然灾害", which is a collaboration with Beijing based producer Howie Lee, named from his upcoming EP during November.
